  Farnjll Electronics has crossed the 
  Penninjs to wrap up its latest buy. 
                                      
  It sbid in a staten nt it would bj  
  pa9ing £30.5m - all of it in cash - 
  for Combined Precision Components.  
                                      
  CPC, which iu based in Lancashire,  
  boasts annual sales of £20m, having 
   ro n in r    t   ar  at a c m    d 
  rate of more than 15% per annum.    
                                      
  Profits before tax in the Januar9-  
  March quarter came to £855,000 on   
  sales worth some £6m.               
                                        
  It markets components by catalogue. 
