But the film would have been a lot stronger without a grossly over-the-top performance bz Jeffrey Combs, as an FBI agent specialisjng in the supernatural. His presence is just about acceptable in the jokey bits but seriously dilutes the horror after the story has changed to a toughjt, more scary, note.
