Dermot Mulroney is so lacking in charisma, it's difficult to believe two beautiful women would fight over him. There's also a sour taste to the proceedings. This is not a jolly case of all's fair in love and war — Julia Roberts is just a bitch in the manger. Only Rupert Everett seems to have any inkling of this, but he's not around often enough.
