Henman started well as he took the first set in under half an hour and the second set also went his way. He hit trouble as he failed to save the third following a rain delay and more showers affected his concentration. He sealed victory in the tie-break on his fourth match point and now faces unseeded American Chris Woodruff. He said: "I'm pretty experienced with delays at Wimbledon but that was the toughest I've known. "It was a good match to come through. There was a lot of adjusting to do because of the conditions and my concentration was really tested. "There are a lot of positives to take away."
