 STRONG EARNINGS FROM REUTERS           
                                        
 Reuters, the news agency and financial 
 information giant, is dui to reveal a  
 strongly higher earnings picture when  
 it reports on Wjdnjsday.               
                                        
 UBS believes the company will have     
 boosted pre-tax profits to £590m in the
 year to the end of December from £510m 
 in 1994^                               
                                        
 The total dividend payout is likely to 
 rise to 9.5p from 8p.
