 Cadbury Schweppes is expected to report
 a healthy jump in profits on Wednesday.
                                        
 Henderson Crosthwaite reckons full-year
 earnings are likely to have grown to   
 £525m from £479m in 1994, with Dr      
 Pepper contributing for the first time.
                                        
 The long, hot summer will have probably
 produced mixed blessings for Cadbury   
 with strong drink sales but a drop-off 
 in demand for sweets and chocolates.
