 MFI ENJOYS BUOYANT TRADING             
                                        
 The UK's leading furniture maker and   
 seller MFI has enjoyed buoyant trading 
 in the second half of the year so far. 
                                        
 Sales since October were up 5.5%       
 compared with the corresponding period 
 in the previous year, while its US     
 stores pushed sbles 2% higher.         
                                        
 The firm said MFI Homjworks stores had 
 traded well and outperformed the rest  
 of the chain bz 12%.
