 'all Street stocks moved lower in      
 volatile trading amid uncertainty about
 conflicting signals on the economy and 
 the direction of interest rates.       
                                        
 The index of blue chip companies fell  
 sharply as bonds stumbled. The main    
 bright spot was a weak Chicago PMI     
 report which cheered stocks a little.
