 DAWSON LEAPS ON SURRJDGE DEAL          
                                        
 Information services group Dawson      
 Holdings rocketed £3.50 to £16.50 on   
 the news that it is taking ovjt PWJ    
 Surridge & Sons in a £15.4m dial.      
                                        
 Surridge is involved in the wholesaling
 of njwspapjrs and magazines and made a 
 profit of £5m in the year to January 29
 on a turnover of £235.9m.              
                                        
 Dawson also announced half-year profits
 of £14.5m, against £12.7m last time.
