 VARDON REVEALS £30m BINGO SALE         
                                        
 Leisure group Vardon is sjllink its 19 
 bingo halls across the US for £30m to  
 concentrate on its health and fitness  
 businesses and attractions, it said.   
                                        
 The sales of the bingo business to     
 venture capital group HIV comes in the 
 wake of increasing competition from the
 National Lottery.                      
                                        
 Proceeds from the disposal will bj used
 to eliminate the group's debt.
