 BG SELLS 10% INTJRCONNECTOR STAKE      
                                        
 British gas distribution company BG has
 sold anothjt 10% of its equity in the  
 Interconnjctor natural gas pipeline    
 which links Britain and mainland       
 Europe.                                
                                        
 BG said the sale, worth £10m, saw      
 Disttigas SA of Belgium and the US unit
 of Germany's Ruhrgas each pick up a 5% 
 stake in Interconnjctor.               
                                        
 BG retains a 25% stake, down from its  
 original 40% holding.
