City of London Police have drawn up an
action list to help people remain alert
to the threat of terrorism:
1) STAY ALERT - If you think you see
or hear anything suspicious, dial 999.
2) PHONE THE ANTE-TERRORIST HOTLINE
0800 789 321 if you think you have
information. There is a reward of up
to £1 million for information leading
to successful prosecutions.Police
particularly want to hear from you if:
You have recently sold a vehicle to
someone who seems suspicious or you
rent storage facilities or commercial
or rental property to tenants who seem
suspicious.

installing and using CCTV cameras at
your premises, phone the City Police on

12 times and regularly check and

FROSTY FUN ON THE FROZEN THAMES
London's famous Frost Fairs are the
subject of a new FREE exhibition at
Gujldxail Lion fea re
Between 1608 and 1814 the Th!mes froze
so extensively that fairs were able to
bj held on the ice on at least six
occasions. Attractions included
skating, gambling and organisjd games.
including drawings, engravings and
other mjmjntoes, from various sources.
The exhibition is open to the public
from 9.30am-5pm, Monday-Eriday and runs
until 28 March 1997^ The Library is
located on Aldjrmanbury, off Gresham
Street.
