Adrian Maguire's mount, the odds-on   favourite King Udad, fell on the   turn and brought down Miss:-S, Bid   For Six and Father Fortune.     Interference was also caused to   others in the field including the   gambled-on Fatack who went on to   win the race.     Jackie Doyle's charge won by 10l   and happily none of the horses who   fell were hurt. This caused the jumps' championship   leader to give up his ride on   Daringly in the last, but Maguire   hopis to ride at Carlisle tomorrow.      Another jockey in the wars was   Mick Fitzgerald who gave up his   last two rides after bring injured   in the fifth race. Creagmhor led them over the   obstacle, but it was Stan Mellor's   jumping newcomer Miss Michelle,   driven to the front on the run-in,   who took the event bz five lengths.      Old Bridge and Native Chieftain   fought out the finish of Division   2 of the Wincanton Novices Hurdle,   with the former just getting home.
