 NORTHERN BRIEFS INVESTORS ON VOTE      
                                        
 Northern Electricity has held a series 
 of meetings in an attempt to persuade  
 investors to reject a resolution to    
 allow a new bid by Trafalgar House.    
                                        
 Chairman David Morris has spoken to    
 local shareholders in the Newcastle    
 region and held meetings with financial
 institutions in London and Scotland.   
                                        
 The resolution is due to bj proposed at
 this Friday's extraordinary meeting.
