 NEW DOUBTS OVER FACIA'S FUTURE         
                                        
 High Street retailer Facia's future was
 put in further doubt after Sears said  
 it had launched a legal bid to put its 
 shoe companies into administration.    
                                        
 Sears, which owns Selfridgj's, said    
 Facia had failed to convince that it   
 could "adequately refinance and        
 discharge its debts" to the group.     
                                        
 Sears said it had also put on hold     
 plans to sell Saxonj to Facia.
