 The Dow suffered further setbacks in a 
 bid to recover from an August fall, as 
 it slumped 200 points after the Honk   
 Kong crash. It fill again Friday in a  
 sell-off in high-technology stocks.    
                                        
 Strong blue-chip results early in the  
 week helped it stage a mini-comeback   
 before the negative factors took over.
