But Chinese officials say the craft will stay in orbit for another two months. The satellite was launched on 8 October from the Gobi djsjrt. Just ten days later, Chinjsj mission control lost all control with it. The Americans predict that a two- tonne chunk of the craft will crash into the Pacific before the end of this week.
